    White Easter

Christmas was downright balmy -- no snow, no worries.

For Easter, it is snow that has risen ...er... fallen.

Some photos from shortly after sunrise, Easter morning.

Here is Gina's car, the Silver Bullet...

A view of the neighborhood from the living room window ... the front steps and bushes completely covered in snow.

The neighbor's SUV, parked at the foot of the driveway, presumably because he can't negotiate it up the hill.

... (what's the point of having one if you can't get it up the hill?) ...

A view from the second floor bathroom of the backyard screen porch.

Fortunately, we won't be trying to exit the house through that door.

The plan today was to ride out to Jefferson for dinner. We may still do that...

I'm going to call Dad shortly and see how it looks out there. Dad had originally hoped to cook dinner on the grill!

We weren't planning on being there till this afternoon, but the forecast does call for some more snow.

And we were going to ride out to Berea first to pick up GiGi...

    We'll see..

    Happy Easter!

Here comes Peter Cottontail, sliding down the bunny trail...

Yeah, we didn't go to Jefferson. Instead we stayed at home, ate ham and sweet potatoes, and shoveled a lot of snow.

We did a fair amount of shoveling as well. Somehow it looks like you had more snow than us, which is strange considering we're only five minutes away.

I love that picture from the front window, looking out onto the street.

I was at the Cleveland Indians' Home Opener on Good Friday. Let me just tell you, that was a WHOLE LOTTA FUN!

since they didn't complete five innings, was it really the home opener?

I'm glad someone posted pics, no one believes me that we had this much snow. I have friends in Avon who got "a dusting" and I was in Akron where they got the same.

    I shoveled nothing.

Bay Village got 16 inches. I measured the snow yesterday evening. It was insane. The roads on Easter Sunday were insane!

these pictures were early Sunday morning. It continued to snow all day and didn't stop till evening. There was at least 2 feet of snow on top of Gina's car before I finally went out last night and cleared it off.

audient, you're a wuss! We not only drove in the whiteout blizzard at 1:30am Sunday morning to do a late night walmart run, but we also trucked it out to the west side around noon to see the parents. no sweat!
