Starbucks on Lee Closed
The Starbucks on Lee Road by the Cedar-Lee Theater .... closed on June 30. I discovered this today on my way to work. This was my favorite Starbucks to go to in the morning because the line was usually short. Apparently too short. And there was the time that I walked out without coffee a couple of weeks ago because I got ignored at the counter, and then was passed over for the guy behind me in line. Still, I don't think I've ever seen a Starbucks close. Wow. |

post a commentWhat? Where are we going to meet for coffee?
Weird. I was just there last week and didn't notice it being unusally slow.
There is a Phoenix coffee up the street I think, close to The Colony ... never been there, but it looks like I may be checking it out soon.
What happened to your Senseo coffee maker? Me being the cheapass that I am says you should make your own. You'll save a ton of money.
Is there still a Phoenix Coffee there? I don't know. Check it out and let me know. We're NOT meeting for drinks on a work night cause one of us will get wasted.
I still have the Senseo. It is right here, next to my desk. I just like a little coffee on my ride in, that's all.
Someone was kind enough to make me a cup of coffee this morning.
AG -- we should meet up soon, but you are right -- ought to be coffee!
There's a Starbucks at Cedar and Warrensville and one at Cedar and Fairmount. Plus there's always the one on the west side with the maple scones. You could also try Caribou Coffee in Coventry.
Cedar and Warrensville is actually closer to my home -- it is just heading the wrong way on my commute. It is also usually very busy, and parking is sometimes a problem -- which is another reason why I liked the one on Lee -- but that is probably also the reason why it is now gone.
