    Validation

    When you're right, you're right.

Even if no one else sees it. That can be hard.

But sooner or later, people do see it.

    History repeats itself.

Some of the players are different.

But the general gist of things is the same.

    Oh, the drama.

Just glad ... not my problem anymore.

Did we connect? Or was it all just biding time for you?

I don't get it....but I dig it. Kinda like a David Lynch movie.

    I get it!!!

Hilarious. Yep, you were ABSOLUTELY right. In 2 months it won't be my problem anymore either.

drama is drama. don't perpetuate it.
while we've been there on the inside, it's important to remain united and professional from the outside. people need to stop picking.

i simply pay my dues. don't read the emails or minutes. answer emails and calls from several "friends", and hope to say hello in march.

oh yeah- and look forward to not being "needy and sad" by bebout's standards :)

I don't think anyone is perpetuating drama except for the person who creates it.

Jess, I don't think we're talking about quite the same thing -- but I understand your point. Also reminds me, I haven't paid my dues, either. Guess I need to do that if I want to keep reading email and minutes (or have access but not read them), and vote in any elections that may come up.

i wasn't saying specifically. and i certainly wasn't addressing someone currently in the situation. two total different points there.

i can't blame people for counting down their days, hours, minutes. it takes more out of your life than anyone can handle. at least if they're "good" board members.

the time given to the program by any member of the board is respectable. and the freedom experienced from leaving it is simply amazing.

and michael- pay your dues. we've already had this discussion :)

ok, but this post isn't really about serving on the board.

I have said so many things to so many people that I do not recal saying you were needy or sad. I am sure that in the propper context I would agree with myself in finding a touch of need or saddness in you, but the same could be said about bmost people at different points, myslef included.
As far as the Lil' Abner thing, I am flumuxed.

I got it. It took me awhile. But I got it.
